Below are some of my personal favourite healthy food combinations that you must try!
Apples and peanut butter
Apples and peanut butter are undoubtedly one of the best snacks to exist! Moreover, not only is this snack delicious, but it is also very nutritious. Apples are an exceptional source of whole-food carbs and fibre, while peanut butter is a great way to add more protein and healthy fats into your diet. Thus, when paired together, they offer a healthy and satiating snack, that is filled with health benefits such as reducing inflammation, promoting heart health, and regulating blood sugar levels.
Banana and Greek yogurt
Not only does this combination make a perfectly easy and portable breakfast, but it is also a great post-workout snack! When you add bananas, which are high in potassium, to yogurt, which has a lot of protein, it can aid in building muscle and replacing the amino acids that were depleted during exercise.
Carrots and hummus
